Wireless creates a virtual eight-microphone network.
The two binax hearing aids are linked. The outstanding wireless data
transmission technology enables exchange of audio signals between two hearing
aids, so they can work with input from both ears just like the brain.
As a result, the hearing aids not only use the information picked up by
their own two microphones, but also sound signal from the two microphones of
the other hearing aid. So together as a pair, they create a virtual eight-microphone
network.

This virtual eight-microphone network provides a High Definition Sound
Resolution. HDSR it is so powerful that binax hearing aids are clinically
proven to allow wearers to understand speech in noisy situations even better
than their normal hearing*.
*Two clinical
studies have shown that binax provides better than normal hearing in certain
demanding environments (University of Northern Colorado, 2014; Oldenburg
Hörzentrum, 2013): Speech Reception Thresholds (SRT) in cocktail-party
situations improved up to 2.9 dB for wearers with mild to moderate hearing loss
using Carat binax or Pure binax hearing aids with narrow directionality,
compared to people with normal hearing.
